Had a three day two night camp of briged siswa on last weekend. Our camp was held at Kampung Palok Hinai, a place near Gambang. ( seriously i don't know where this place is as i have never been there before).
Emm, briged siswa is our compulsory koko subject that suppose to take it during our sem one first year. But we were not able to take it last time so no choice have to take it this sem. Camping is the most important and also the hardest activity among the activities under this subject. To tell the truth, i really didn't enjoy the camp very much. As this was the first camp that made me wish to cry during camping. ( sound a bit serious) Of cause i dint cry at the end, but thinking back, i really wish this would be the last time i join such a camp, the hardest camping ever in my life.
The theme of camping was "team building" which meant to help us on building our team work and improving our communication skills. What was the difference between this camp and the team building camp during our schooling time was the activities we took part and also the concept of camping was also different.
The first activity that quite memorable to me was the "water confident". We needed to wear the life jacket and then floating on the river. Since was the raining day, the water level was so high and so dirty. For those who didn't know how to swim ( included me of course), were so scared when waiting our turn to go on the river. Just liked the name "water confident", you really needed to have confident on yourself and also the life jacket. Without thinking too much, just tried my best to relax myself and floating on the super dirty river for few minutes.
Another activity was the jungle trekking. The most memorable jungle trekking experience that i ever had. We had been into the jungle for around 7 hours under the rain. That's why it was so memorable to me. It was so hard to walk under the dark and there was so slippy. Some of us even fell down due to the slippy slurry. Some of us were being bitten by the leech. And the best part, kept on shaking while walking through the jungle. At that moment i really felt like going to faint. Luckily i was still able to stand on it^^ Was really a hard time for me as we experienced the life like old time or can said jungle life which lacked of water, lacked of the basic necessity which we had never experienced before.
Emm, just to say, the camp was really a memorable experience, a different kind of life experience for me.
